The main purpose of this website is to support and help promote
La Onda Tejana in the state of Arizona.
We are born and raised Arizonan's who have supported both local and major tejano/conjunto groups for the past two decades.
We've seen firsthand, the fluctuations in concert attendance and have vowed to get event information to all of you.
Tapia's Tejano Pics. Net is the only website in Arizona to post all Tejano & Conjunto shows in our State!
We  believe in helping all the artists and their prospective groups with promotion.  In order for the Tejano industry to regain it's momentum, we need to (re)introduce the public to our music, and our groups...The Up & Coming groups, as well as the legendary groups.  They, along with you and your support, are the future of La Onda...
Don't forget to visit our photo albums to see new pics every week!
 Thanks for visiting!

Bonifacio Mauricio III "BONI" began his musical carrer in 1974 performing along side with his father Bonifacio Mauricio Jr. as a
drummer. Boni's father', seeing his son's love for music & ambition to learn, sent him to piano lessons giving Boni the best gift a
musician's son could ever receive. With this knowledge, Boni later persued several other instruments including Bajo Sexto, Bass
Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, many percussion instruments, and finally in 1982 got accordion lessons from a Corpus Christi
Legend, Issac Figueroa .... Boni has performed and recorded for many bands. He remembers his fathers advice, " Always try to adapt,
modify, and improvise", with this. his experiences have been numerous. Boni's most recognized performances and recordings were with
Los Campeones de Raul Ruiz, Conjunto Badd, Pio Trevino & Magic, Chato Chavarria y Grupo Mayo, Angel Flores y Los Alacranes,
Mingo Saldivar, June P Garcia Y El Conjunto Madrigal, & a special recording on drums with Tony De La Rosa & Ruben Vela together,
The HomeTown Boys & following the advice of his PADRINO Tony De La Rosa, now solo with Los Maximos.... "El Abandonado" marks the first release of Boni Mauricio not as a sideman for another band but as a lead man for his own group.
The boldly entitled "Me Importa Madre", Maintains its strength filled with human emotions, struggles, and triumph.
Everything after this is HISTORY!!
Boni began his singing with Ramiro Gonzales (Los Nuevos Campeones) in 1984 experimenting with harmonies... It wasnt until making his first group "Conjunto Badd" that intonation came into the picture. Throughout the years Boni has sang with several greats such as Joe Ramos, Chacha Jimenez, Beto Martinez, Greg Paredez, Tony De La Rosa, Beto Salinas, Ricky Martinez, Joe Martinez, Roman Martinez, Bobby Salinas, Ruben Garza, Gilberto Garcia, Mingo Saldivar & many
many more!!!! His unique raspy voice is known throughout the U.S. and Mexico.   Boni has won several awards one being Conjunto Of The Year 2004, and Album Of The Year 2006, by the South Texas Conjunto Association. Boni has already influenced many new upcoming musicians and has left his mark in the conjunto industry for life...
